The most common austenitic stainless steel, very widely used in the food, pharmaceutical, breweries and chemical industries. Also very popular in the building and domestic appliance sectors. The 'L' grade has a reduced carbon content. The lower carbon content willhelp improve corrosion resistance after welding, and minimise carbide precipitation during the welding operation.
