FV520B has corrosion resistance, good weldability and it is capable of being hardened treatment. It has resistance to intergranular / pitting corrosion better than that of other precipitation hardening grades such as 17/4PH. With corrosion resistance comparable to 304 stainless it is used in industry and marine environments for low rusting rate.
