Alpha Assembly Solutions Receives 2018 Service Excellence Award

Alpha Assembly Solutions, the world leader in the production of electronic soldering and bonding materials, took home two awards from the recent IPC APEX Conference and Exhibition, held in San Diego, CA held February 24 – March 1, 2018. Alpha was honored to receive CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY’s 2018 Service Excellence Award for Materials. For 26 years, CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY’s Service Excellence Awards have recognized electronics manufacturing services providers and electronics assembly equipment, materials, and software suppliers who have received the highest customer service ratings, as judged by their own customers. “Alpha is committed to providing world class customer service and support.“, said Robert Wallace, Alpha’s Regional Marketing Manager for the Americas. “We are very proud of the level of support and expertise provided by our technical and inside sales teams and are pleased to see this hard work recognized.“ The second award was given to Karen Tellefsen, Ph.D., Alpha’s Senior Research Chemist. Dr. Tellefsen, along with three of her industry colleagues, received an IPC Distinguished Committee Service Award for her contributions to J-STD-004B, Amendment 1, Requirements for Soldering Fluxes. Dr. Tellefsen participates in several important IPC task groups, and has been recognized multiple times for her contributions.
