Quality Control of Plug-in Contacts using 3D Measurement Method
Requirements related to the quality control of plug-in contacts are higher than ever before. Thereby, inspection of the circumference of the connector to insure proper seating and co-planarity is one of the biggest challenges for inspection systems, pushing conventional AOI technology to its limits very easily.
One solution is an innovative 3D technology for measurement without shadowing effects.
What this looks like in detail and what further advantages this technology has for the inspection if plug-in connectors will be explained in the webinar on 27 October. Learn more about 3D and 2D measurement functions for inspection of connectors as well as the combination of various inspection technologies for comprehensive quality control. The finishing touch of the webinar is the presentation on the use of CAD data for automatic generation of measurement programs.
The following questions, among others will be answered during the webinar:
Which requirements are requested for the quality of connectors, particularly plug-in contacts?
Which technologies are necessary to measure plug-in contacts three-dimensionally?
What are the advantages of combined inspection methods?
Which CAD date format is needed for automatic program generation for positioning control of plug-in contacts?
