Wire Mesh Fabrications were commissioned to manufacture bespoke machine guarding screens used in a daily wash down food production environment. The company required us to design and manufacture replacement guarding screens – simply designed to last longer and which wouldn’t impact visibility on the end user, as previous Perspex screens had become misted and were easily scratched when cleaned with abrasives. With optimum visibility, ease of cleaning as well as longevity of life, the stainless-steel option was ideal. Custom made wire mesh was fixed inside the box section framework, with handles and hinge-mounting plates added for ease of use.
