Pedestian Bridge - Leytonstone

Wire Mesh Fabrications has partnered with Metaltreat a local galvanising company on a project aimed at ensuring pedestrians’ safety when travelling across a major transport route in London. Forming part of a £million Transport for London improvement scheme this particularly large scale project saw framed sections of mesh manufactured to size and specification to create the cages for the Church Lane footbridge in Leytonstone. The cages were introduced to replace the previous Perspex screens in a bid to improve visibility and reduce anti-social behaviour. Wire Mesh Fabrications is currently working on putting the tender together for the next phase of the scheme.
