Wire Gabions

Wire Mesh Fabrications were commissioned by a leading construction company to manufacture bespoke heavy duty wire gabions for a coastal protection sea defence system project. The company required us to manufacture 1m x 5m x 5m wire gabions – primarily designed to act as coastal protection. It is made from 6mm stainless steel wire to withstand fierce waves and severe weather conditions. These were installed 3m above high water, and securely anchored onto mass concrete bases for added security, providing a robust sea defence system. Customer Review: 10th May 2018 “They have withstood five hurricanes now the winters in the last couple of years have been fierce, and the gabions you made are unflinchingly solid, the waves have beaten them to within an inch of their life. Not a single deformation in sight after close inspection. The product has been very well made and is nothing short of fantastic.”
