WITT LAUNCHES NEW DIGITAL GAS CONTROL PROCESSOR Witt, the gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier has introduced Gas Control 100, a new digital gas control processor for use with gas mixers, metering and analysing equipment for technical gases. The main features of this new controller include on board data logging providing comprehensive storage of measurements and process data and control of the analysis process and mixing using a full colour digital display. In addition this controller is supplied with numerous interfaces such as CAN-Bus, RS232, USB, SD-Card and Ethernet connections making integration with nearly every network possible. The new Gas Control 100 processor will replace the program control units previously fitted, offering users more functions than was previously possible. The microchips in the new controllers act as a control centre performing all calculations as well as controlling the interfaces. The MAPY-4.0 multi-functional O2 and/or CO2 gas analyser for use with Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) in the Food Processing and Packaging industries is the first product to be fitted with the Gas Control 100.
