DUAL-MITRE ? 3-PHASE DESCRIPTION The Pedrazzoli SN 300 Newton Double Mitre Semi-Automatic Bandsaw for cutting metal implements a unique mechanism for rotating the saw bow unit together along with circular support facilitating mitre cuts to the left up to 60 degrees and 45 degrees to the right. The saw head position locks in with a quick action locking lever, and a large scale along the table base indicates the mitre position. This SN 300 SA has an adjustable quick-action vice with a rapid approach handwheel, and the vice can be positioned lengthwise along the entire base of the machine. The cutting action of the saw bow is situated on top quality bearings with tapered rollers, and the head is counter-balanced with a double spring mechanism making the cutting process a cinch. The cutting process is initiated by pressing a foot pedal, and the descent rate of the saw bow is adjustable. Other safety features include a lockable mains switch and an E-Stop push button. In addition to the extra-heavy-duty cast saw head, the SN 300 SA has a substantial 27 x 0.9 mm blade lubricated with an industrial lubrication-cooling system and is guided with hard metal pads and adjustable roller bearings, ensuring straight cuts. The coolant system is based on a heavy-duty electric pump coolant tank is extractable for easy pump and tank cleaning during maintenance reviews, and there is a wash-down spray hose attached to the coolant system.
