Broaching press 15 TON This 15 ton press is very similar to our other workshop presses except it is fitted with an extra long cylinder which facilitates a linear broaching process. The piston stroke is 600 mm and the hydraulic press includes a hand operated up/down valve for the movement of the piston, a pressure control valve and a speed control valve. Like our workshop presses this broaching press is operated with a joystick and has 2 speeds controlled with an easy to use lever directly on the hydraulic control unit. A pressure regulation gauge is clearly displayed on the front of the machine for easy control of the linear broaching operations. Broaching is a metalworking process using a tool with progressive teeth and tool itself is called a broach. With linear broaching the broach tool runs in a linear direction against the surface of a workpiece where a key slot is to be cut. The heavy-duty working bed has 10 adjustable positions and the bed can be adjusted using the provided chain system which works in conjunction with the hydraulic ram allowing for quick and easy adjustment for all applications.
