This barcode scanner for PAT testers is simple to use. The barcode scanner can be used with PAT testers from Seaward, Robin, Alphatek and Martindale (see PAT tester models below). Our bar code label scanner for PAT testers is used to scan in bar coded appliance ID labels fixed to portable appliances. The unit comes with the connecting cable to plug the bar-code label scanner directly into the PAT Tester. This low cost CCD barcode scanner is the perfect accessory to speed up your PAT Testing. This Barcode scanner is considered a contact scanner but PAT Training Services finds that in certain circumstances this scanner also acts as a non contact barcode scanner. The scanner illuminates red when active and changes to green when a barcode has been successfully scanned. 

In addition to its fast operation the scanner also comes with a table mountable holster. The barcode on this holster can be scanned to switch the scanner to a constant mode allowing for hands free operation. Hands free operation will enable any user to scan moveable appliances twice as fast.
