The Chauvin Arnoux CA6416 Earth Clamp is a sophisticated earth tester with the capacity to measure loop resistance (0.01 to 1500Ω), loop inductance (10 to 500µH) and leakage current (0.2mA to 40A). The 35mm jaw clamp is resistant to interference thanks to its shielded magnetic circuits and the meter provides additional values for ground voltage for a complete picture of circuit grounding.

The OLED display on the Chauvin Arnoux CA6416 is visible from 180? and backlit for different lighting conditions. It can show the measurement result as well as ground voltage, resistance and loop inductance values simultaneously and also features a hold function. An innovative pre-hold function is also available whereby a reading is held on screen when the clamp jaws are opened.

The clearly-labelled silicone dial is easy to use and the push buttons are very simple to use with gloves. Up to 300 readings can be saved to the internal memory and then recalled to the screen.

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6416 is safety-rated as Cat IV 600V and is supplied with a handy carry case. The four AA batteries provide enough energy for roughly 1440 measurements and the manufacturer’s warranty lasts for 12 months.
