Chauvin Arnoux CA6522 Insulation Tester

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6522 Insulation Tester measures insulation resistance from 0 to 40GΩ and has test voltages of 250V, 500V and 1000V to provide good flexibility when taking insulation resistance measurements which makes it ideal for performing maintenance on industrial insulation. Furthermore, its capacity to test insulation over programmed durations negates the distorting effect of transient current. It can also perform continuity testing and voltage measurement up to 700V with voltage absence testing to aid the user’s safety.

Results are shown on the backlit digital display which features an analogue bar graph and a data hold function. The Chauvin Arnoux CA6522 is operated via a simple dial and the continuity test function has an audible alarm. Supplied accessories include test leads, a carry case, crocodile clips, batteries and a rubber boot case which makes the megohmmeter extremely robust. The safety rating is Cat IV 600V and the tester is covered by a two-year warranty.
