Chauvin Arnoux CA6534 Electronics Insulation Tester
The Chauvin Arnoux CA6534 Electronics Insulation Tester is a specialist megohmmeter designed for use with electronics. Test voltages of 10V, 25V, 100V, 250V and 500V allow the user to accurately test insulation on both low current applications and power stages from 2kΩ to 50GΩ. Additional electrodes can also be used to convert the tester for use in electrostatic discharge applications.
Other advanced measurement features on the Chauvin Arnoux CA6534 include leakage current and adjustable alarms whilst relative measurement mode allows comparison of separate cables. The tester can measure AC voltage up to 700V as well as performing continuity and resistance tests whilst there are also three alarms (2 fixed, 1 adjustable).
A magnetic mount allows the Chauvin Arnoux CA6534 to be used hands-free and clearly labelled push buttons compliment simple dial operation. Readings are clearly shown on the backlit display via a digital readout and an analogue bar graph and the internal memory can store up to 1300 results. Bluetooth connectivity allows data transfer to the user’s smart device where optional DataView software can be employed to carry out detailed analysis.
Several accessories are included with the Chauvin Arnoux CA6534 so it is ready to use straight out of the box. A two-year warranty covers this sturdy insulation tester against breakdown and it is safety rated as Cat IV 600V.
