The Chauvin Arnoux PEL103 Power Energy Logger is a handy power quality analyser which is ideal for mapping energy consumption on single-phase, split-phase and three-phase installations. This allows the user to catch problems early in production machinery as well as providing the information to make efficiency savings throughout a system. In this kit, it comes provided with three MA193 Current Clamps plus test leads, crocodile clips, a 2GB SD card and more.

Measurement features on the Chauvin Arnoux PEL103 include current and voltage, RMS frequency, power value and power factor so a complete picture of energy usage is provided. Real-time consumption readings are displayed on screen and can be compared against historical data to identify nascent issues. Installation over a longer period allows monitoring of active, reactive and apparent power values whilst an alarm can be set to instantly alert the user to overconsumption.

The Chauvin Arnoux PEL103 can be installed without having to shut off the mains electricity supply and also has a magnetic panel on the back for easy mounting. Data transfer is made simple thanks to USB connectivity and software whilst real-time communication with a PC streamlines the analysis process. The software can also configure the unit and verify connections before taking readings.

The three Chauvin Arnoux MA193 Current Clamps contained in this kit are also compatible with Qualistar power quality analysers and have a 70mm clamping diameter via a 220mm cable. The enormous measurement range goes from 100mA to 10kA AC and the clamps have a safety rating of 1000V Cat III / 600V Cat IV.
