The CorDEX Genesis Intrinsically Safe FL4700 ATEX Lantern is powered from a radical, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, producing 7.2V at 3000mAh; known as EXIS.

What makes EXIS a World’s first?

The 7.2V EXIS LI-Ion power pack is the only rechargeable battery in the World that can be removed and re-installed to equipment for use within a zone 1 hazardous environment. By cutting the time taken to exit and re-enter a hazardous zone to replace batteries, EXIS reduces the overall cost of operational maintenance.

The EXIS power pack has on-board battery energy level indication, along with a Bluetooth battery diagnostic station providing data regarding battery health, charge status and much more - all via a dedicated PC application.
