The CT100 Network Cable Tester from Extech is for testing RJ45 CAT cables and F type coaxial cables for shorts, open circuits and reversals on EIA/TIA568A, 568B and 10Base-T cables. It also has Shield Detection which tests the integrity of the shield around the conductor/s.

Featuring F type coaxial connectors, the Extech CT100 allows you to locate and remedy any CATV coax cable much quicker and easier. Weighing only 102g and with a size of 83x52x32mm they are very comfortable and easy to use.

The CT100 tester can also test and detect installed: jumper cables, all coax cables and installed wiring cables in the area the work is being carried out in. The tests can be carried out on lengths ranging from 3-600ft (0.9-183m), giving you much flexibility with where to carry out the test.
