Extech EMF450 Electromagnetic Field Meter

The Extech EMF450 Electromagnetic Field Meter is a useful instrument for measuring the electromagnetic field given off by home appliances, power lines, industrial devices and more. It gives measurements for magnetic fields, electric fields and RF strength at a frequency range of 50/60 Hz for electromagnetic field and 50MHz/3.5GHz for RF strength. A triple axis sensor gives greater detail for magnetic field whilst a range of units for each parameter provide flexibility for the user.

Feedback is given to the user via vibrant colour display with traffic light-style alarms. Brightness is adjustable for different lighting conditions whilst an audible alarm indicates detection of problematic fields. The Extech EMF450’s internal memory has enough space for 20 RF historical records and data hold allows the user to freeze a reading on screen. The interface is available in English, traditional/simplified Chinese, Japanese and Spanish and the instrument is covered by a 12-month warranty.
