Extech MA150 200A AC Clamp Meter

The Extech MA150 200A AC Clamp Meter measures AC current from 0 to 200A in addition to AC voltage (2V to 600V), DC voltage (200mV to 600V), and resistance (200Ω to 20MΩ). Other functions include continuity testing, diode testing and non-contact voltage detection from 100V to 600V AC. Alerts are given for voltage presence via a flashing red LED.

Current readings are taken through the 18mm jaw clamp which is also the point for non-contact voltage detection. A white LED torch is built into the Extech MA150 and the backlit LCD display is extremely clear so it is ideal for use in poor light, for example in switch cabinets.

Operation is undertaken through a very simple dial and push-button interface and an autoranging function helps speed up the measurement process whilst ensuring precision.

Test leads are included with the Extech MA150 alongside a leather carry pouch. The clamp meter is rated as Cat III 300V and has a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.
