Lightweight and user-friendly, the Extech RF40 Portable Battery Coolant/Glycol Refractometer is perfect for accurately determining the concentration levels of ethylene/propylene glycol as well as measuring the overall freezing point of various types of coolant.

The Extech RF40 provides ranges of -60 to 32°F Propylene Glycol freeze point, -60 to 25°F Ethylene Glycol freeze point and 1.15 to 1.30 Specific Gravity of Battery Acid, with all measurements calculated using Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC), ensuring that the effects of temperature don’t effect measurement accuracy.

Ideal for determining repeatable measurements by adjusting the focus slightly, the easy-to-use RF40 only requires 2 to 3 drops of solution in order to operate and offers the ability to adjust the focus of the prism and lens thanks to a built-in focus adjustment option.
