FLIR E50bx E-Series Thermal Imaging Camera
The FLIR E50bx Infrared Camera provides thermographers with a highly sensitive inspection camera that enables building diagnostics to be quickly and clearly displayed on an improved 240 x 180 pixel display. The higher resolution means that the captured thermal images will be much clearer and more accurate, helping to pinpoint exactly where the fault lies. A thermographic survey of a building using the E50bx camera will enable the user to detect problems with insulation, moisture, air leaks, thermal bridges and reasons for poor efficiency within solar PV panels.
The FLIR E50bx is equipped with FLIR’s patented MSX imaging feature (see additional image thumbnails for examples). This unique addition to the camera adds visual definition to your thermal images through a fusion of digital image detail overlayed onto the infrared image.
In addition it offers Wi-Fi connectivity so that images can be wirelessly transferred from the camera to mobile devices for further thermal analysis and the creation of inspection reports for sharing with clients and colleagues. MeterLink technology also enables wireless communication with an Extech MO297 Moisture Meter, allowing data from the meter to be added to infrared images for more comprehensive inspection reports.
The touch screen interface puts advanced measurement tools, image modes and archived JPEGs at your fingertips while the humidity & insulation alarms and features such as thermal fusion mean the FLIR E50bx thermal imaging camera is a powerful tool for scanning both the interior and exterior of buildings, supported with excellent reporting and analysis functions.
240 x 180 pixel resolution The FLIR E50bx infrared camera image resolution is 240 x 180 pixels, allowing a range of valuable thermal information to be displayed to isolate faults. |
Wi-Fi Connectivity Transfer images and data wirelessly to mobile devices (iPad or iPhone for example) for fast sharing and analysis of thermal reports. |
MeterLink Flir MeterLink technology allows data transfer from an Extech EX845 clampmeter and MO297 moisture meter onto the E50bx. |
Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) New feature that overlays a digital image onto thermal image and thus providing greater visual detail. |
Picture-in-Picture (PiP) For overlying the infrared image on the visual image while retaining all thermal data. This helps to spot dangerous temperature developments and is movable & resizable. |
FLIR Thermal Fusion The E50 bx merges visual and infrared images to offer better analysis. |
Auto-Orientation New automatic screen orientation lets you switch between landscape and portrait while keeping temperature measurements upright no matter which way you hold the camera. |
Measurement Modes Including measurement spot, automatic hot/cold detection marker, isotherms and Delta T. |
High Sensitivity and Accuracy An impressive accuracy of ±2% and a thermal sensitivity of 0.045°C |
Dew Point & Insulation Alarms The Relative Humidity Alarm alerts you to the areas where there is a risk of condensation. An Insulation Alarm shows the insulation performance of the building. |
LCD Touchscreen A large 3.5" LCD touchscreen puts thermal analytics at your fingertips. |
Thumbnail image gallery An easy-to-access thumbnail image gallery helps you to quickly review and find your infrared images. |
Text and voice annotations to images Text comments can be made from a pre-defined list or using the touch screen. A Bluetooth headset can be used to make voice annotations. |
Laser Pointer and LED Light To associate hot/cold spot in IR image with physical target in the field, an LED light ensures image quality from built-in 3 megapixel digital camera regardless of light level. |
Long Life Battery Lithium-Ion battery (replaceable in the field) provides 4 hour continuous operation to keep up with a demanding on-site schedule. |
Copy to USB Transfer images and measurement data directly from the E50bx to a USB stick. |
