Fluke 375 FC True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter

The Fluke 375 FC True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter is a smart device that boasts Bluetooth connectivity to the user’s smartphone/tablet via the Fluke Connect app. This allows it to project readings directly to the user’s smartphone or tablet where data can be analysed and forwarded. An additional advantage of Fluke Connect is that the user can leave a meter connected to a system and then observe outputs from a safe distance.

As far as measurement is concerned, the Fluke 375 FC can take accurate readings for AC/DC current (600A), AC/DC voltage (1000V), frequency (500Hz), resistance (60kΩ) and capacitance (1000µF). There is also an option for continuity testing whilst true RMS measurement helps keep AC readings accurate. Inrush measurement allows readings to be taken for current during system start-up and a low pass filter helps accurately assess motor drives.

Results are shown on the Fluke 375 FC’s backlit, digital screen as well as on the user’s smartphone. There are options for min/max/avg recording and data hold so the device gives a comprehensive overview of system outputs. The 34mm jaw has simple trigger operation whilst the measurement type is set with a dial.

The Fluke 375 FC is compatible with the Fluke iFlex Flexible Current Probe which can measure frequency and AC current up to 2500A as well as bringing greater access to awkward or cramped wiring. The inputs are safety-rated as Cat III to 1000V and Cat IV to 600V. The product provides a great way of taking and sharing accurate electrical readings and comes supplied with test leads and a soft carry case.
