Fluke 376 FC True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter

As a smart device with wireless Bluetooth connectivity, the Fluke 376 FC True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter can communicate readings instantly to an appropriate smartphone or tablet with the Fluke Connect app which opens up several possibilities including datalogging, trend analysis, data transfer off site, and video calls with colleagues around the world. Furthermore, the clamp meter can be attached to a system before the user retreats to a safe distance and looks at the results on his/her smartphone.

The measurement capabilities of the Fluke 376 FC are also impressive. It takes readings for AC/DC current, AC/DC voltage, frequency, resistance (including continuity test) and capacitance. Different ranges and resolutions are available for each parameter - including mV - and true RMS measurement means that AC readings have improved accuracy. Furthermore, the included Fluke iFlex Flexible Current Probe increases AC current range up to 2500A and also provides great access to awkward wiring thanks to its flexible wire-coil clamp. Inrush current mode allows accurate current measurement during system start-up phases whilst a low pass filter ensures accuracy in motor drive measurements.

The Fluke 376 FC’s backlit LCD screen displays results clearly and has an option for min/max/avg recording - also available via the Fluke Connect app - in order to give a full picture of circuit outputs. There is a display hold option and the dial operation always clearly shows which parameter is under inspection. The wide jaw and iFlex current probe bring good access to awkward wiring and an included Fluke TPAK wall hanging kit allows hands-free use. The instrument is safety rated as Cat III to 1000V and Cat IV to 600V and comes supplied with test leads and other accessories in a handy soft carry case.
