The Fluke SM100 SocketMaster Socket Tester provides the user with a way of speedily checking polarity in UK 230V BS1363 mains sockets. The reliable, one-step test process is incredibly straightforward as all the user needs to do is plug the device into a wall socket and then the SM100 will give a polarity indication via its three LEDs (two green, one red).

The user can immediately see the presence of faults** including missing earth*, live earth reverse, live neutral reverse or missing neutral. The most common potential faults are listed on the front of the Fluke SM100 with the respective LED display each fault would provoke. A full list of faults and display combinations is available in a table inside the packaging.

With a lightweight design and ergonomic soft finger grip, the Fluke SM100 is very easy to use and a great way of quickly checking for wiring faults in 230V UK plug sockets. This device meets all relevant standards including BS EN 61010.
