Fluke TiS10 9Hz Thermal Imager

The Fluke TiS10 9Hz Thermal Imager is a simple yet reliable thermal imaging camera. With a surface temperature measurement range of -20?C to 250?C and a 35.7? x 26.8? field of view, the user can view and save a quick snapshot of temperature patterns in any given area, thus quickly identifying unusual hot or cold spots. The large 137:1 distance-to-spot ratio keeps the user safely away from hot surfaces and also allows the user to measure hard-to-reach surfaces more easily.

With ≤150mK thermal sensitivity, temperature differences of just 1.5?C are visualised on the Fluke TiS10’s 3.5” colour screen via the 80 x 60 pixel thermal sensor. Three different colour palettes give added functionality whilst hot and cold spots can be activated to immediately highlight hot and cold spots in the field of view. A digital read out of the surface temperature at the measurement point (indicated in the centre of the screen) is shown alongside both the thermal image and the visible-light picture from the camera.

In addition to its thermal imaging capabilities, the Fluke TiS10 has an integrated 5-megapixel digital camera which captures a visible-light picture alongside the thermal image when a photograph is taken so the user can easily analyse the thermal image at a later date.

There is space for thousands of images on the Fluke TiS10’s 4GB internal memory whilst an SD card slot offers the choice to increase storage capacity even further. A range of file formats provide differing levels of practicality and usability once images have been downloaded. Data can be downloaded to a compute via the supplied USB cable or via wifi to the Fluke Connect App which gives extensive editing and analysis options.

The clip-in battery cartridge has a battery level indicator and contains a rechargeable Li-ion battery which powers the device for roughly four hours on one charge. Operation is quite simple thanks to the intuitive menus and trigger operation whilst the user can even begin the editing process using just the Fluke TiS10’s editing functions. Everything is helpfully supplied in a soft carry case.
