Plugging directly into wall sockets, the HandyMAN MPA1 R2 Break Out Socket Adaptor is a fast and simple way to allow installation testing without detaching 3 pin wall socket outlets and exposing wiring.

This popular R2 socket adaptor features three clearly-labelled, colour-coded 4mm sockets for Live, Earth and Neutral, accepting any standard 4mm test leads.

You will be able to carry out R2 and R1 + R2 measurements as well as voltage detection at wall socket outlets. With the phase and earth conductor linked at the distribution board, your continuity tester probes are placed in the phase (R1) and (R2) 4mm sockets on the HandyMAN MPA1 and then a reading is taken before moving onto the next socket.
