The TEK1345 Sound Level Meter is light and easy to use. The HandyMAN Sound Level Meter's measuring range is 30 to 130 dB with frequency response for A and C weightings for human sense or machine monitoring purposes, meets IEC 61672. It measures sound levels in dB (Decibels) on a large digital display. This extremely versatile sound test meter is ideal for measuring sound levels in most acoustic environments, its even good for novices.

They have been used for testing fire alarm sound levels in buildings, offices, education in schools, colleges, small businesses and shops. The HandyMAN TEK 1345 sound meter can check sound levels / noise levels in large areas, loud or attenuated, treble or bass, intermittent or continuous. Use "A" for human ear bias (500 - 10000Hz) or "C" for full frequency range (32 - 10000Hz) .

This digital sound level test meter has a switch to select fast or slow time ratings making peak and average readings easier to assess. Another benefit is the Data Max and hold functions.

The UK Noise at Work Regulations, 1990, require employers to provide suitable ear protection when noise levels can rise between 85db and 90dB.
