The Kane MSP smoke pump is a manually operated device engineered to take the guess work out of checking the smoke content of oil fired boilers.

With a robust construction and ease of use operation flue gas can be drawn through the pump affecting the colour of the filter paper. Once the process is complete the affected filter paper can be compared to the smoke scale included. Further analysis will give the gas technician the data needed to calibrate a given burner correctly if required.
