Megger DLRO100X / DLRO100XB Low Resistance Ohmmeters

The Megger DLRO100H and DLRO100HB low resistance ohmmeters are the highest specification models within the DLRO100 range of instruments. Whilst portable, the instruments are also capable of output currents of up to 100A, measuring resistances ranging between 0.1µΩ and 1.999Ω.

Similar to the other models within the DLRO100 series, the DLRO100H is available to purchase as a mains or battery operated instrument. The Megger DLRO100H is a mains powered instrument, whereas the DLRO100HB is a Lithium Ion powered battery model capable of powering up to 200 manual 100A tests, or two 10 minute continuous 100A tests. Either option is available to select from the drop down list above.

In addition to DualGround compatibility (note additional clamp required for DualGround testing) and an internal memory capable of logging 220 time and date stamped measurements, the DLRO100H/HB models offer the following additional features:

Bluetooth compatibility – allowing for effective wireless communication and download.
Remote control – remotely operate the instrument by USB using a PC or laptop, permitting the instrument to be operated safely within restricted areas.
Asset tagging – running Megger’s PowerDB app on a windows tablet or smart phone allows traceable unique asset IDs for efficient asset management.

All of the instruments within the DLRO100 series are CAT IV 600VAC/500VDC safety rated with IP54 protection against dust and water ingress whilst testing. The testers have an electrical noise filter that provides stable readings, even at very low resistances captured in noisy environments such as electrical substations. Complete with a large, back-lit and clear LCD screen, the DLRO100 is suitable for operation in low light conditions.

These features coupled with three user modes that allow for manual, automatic and continuous testing signify the Megger DLRO100 as a robust, multi-functional low resistance ohmmeter, suitable for applications ranging from OEM compliance testing and HV switchgear/circuit breaker testing to aircraft fuselage strength tests and railway lines/rolling stock resistance tests.
