The Protimeter Aquant (BLD5765) is a non-invasive moisture meter capable of producing rapid relative moisture readings across a wide range of building materials.

Featuring two user modes, the Aquant moisture meter is suitable for making quick inspections of solid walls and floors in order to highlight areas of concern that could give reason for further investigation.

Both user modes adopt a non-invasive method of measurement where it is impractical to insert electrode pins into the surface of a material.

Search Mode (REL) – Conducts relative moisture measurements up to 3/4 of an inch beneath material surfaces.  Surface moisture like condensation on an otherwise dry wall has little effect on the readings produced, making the Protimeter Aqaunt the perfect solution for a wide range of moisture measurements.

Reference Mode – In reference mode, the Aquant stores ‘reference’ moisture readings that are compared with subsequent readings. New relative moisture measurements will be displayed simultaneously with the reference reading; being displayed as higher or lower. This mode is useful for establishing whether materials are above or below a point of reference or dry standard.

Measurements are displayed on a backlit LCD and colour changing LEDs indicate moisture conditions as dry (green), at risk (yellow) and wet (red).
