Protimeter Timbermaster BLD5609 Wood Moisture Meter

The Protimeter Timbermaster BLD5609 Wood Moisture Meter is the direct replacement for the previous Protimeter Timbermaster BLD5609 and provides the user with the same ability to measure moisture content between 7% and 99% in 150 wood species. This large range of different wood types is possible thanks to to eight calibration scales and nine different in built species groups. Readings are taken via two integrated pins on top of the device although there is also an input for a hammer probe.

Readings are displayed on the Protimeter Timbermaster’s clear LCD screen and the user benefits from the device’s simple push-button operation. The lightweight, rugged design mean that the device can be easily stored and this is also aided by an integrated wrist strap and a protective cap for the electrodes.

Even more functionality is available with the Protimeter Timbermaster Plus Kit which has a temperature probe. This allows automatic temperature correction for even more accurate measurement of wood moisture content.
