The Ring SmartCharge RSC608 Intelligent Battery Charger and Analyser is a smart battery analyser that can also perform charging, repairs and maintenance in vehicle batteries for engines up to 3.0L thanks to its charging current of up to 8A. This includes everything from lawnmowers to camper vans and the instrument works with various battery types such as lead acid, gel, calcium, AGM, and EFB.

The Ring RSC608’s analysis of batteries supplies the user with three very important readings: battery voltage as a percentage of capacity, the drop in voltage during engine start-up phase, and alternator output.

As far as charging is concerned, the user benefits from the Ring RSC08’s comprehensive seven-stage charging process which desulphurises the battery as well as ensuring that batteries are fully recharged without risking overcharging. The Auto Charge function automatically selects the best current to charge with up to 8A although this can also be manually adjusted. A separate winter charging mode compensates for cold weather whilst maintenance mode helps safeguard long term battery health.

Results and feedback are shown on the bright, large screen and the Ring RSC608 Smart Battery charger has a simple push-button interface which allows quick, straightforward navigation. Furthermore, the Memory Saver function stores a vehicle’s electrical and audio settings when the battery is taken out.
