Sofamel PATL-MC Earthing and Short-Circuiting Kit

The Sofamel PATL-MC Earthing and Short-Circuiting Kit is designed for use on medium voltage overhead power lines and is specifically constructed to prevent electric shocks cause by returning voltages. All components comply with IEC 61230 standard so the user can have confidence in this kit.

Three aluminium alloy clamps allow the user to make secure connections to conductors up to 20mm in diameter and they each have automatic activation fastening. Two of the clamps can be attached to either of the two 2.5m PVC-insulated copper cables whilst there is also a 15m PVC-insulated copper earthing cable which can be dispensed using the dispenser head and 2m telescopic pole.

When it is not being used, the 15m copper cable can be wound around the included metal spool. An earth rod is also provided in order to obtain as good an earth connection as possible. A plastic carry case and a rods storage bag make the kit easy to store and transport. Use the drop-down menu above to select the suitable cable diameter and maximum current.
