Sofamel SZ-51S Rescue Kit

The Sofamel SZ-51S Rescue Kit contains a number of tools designed to help someone who has been injured in an electrical incident. All of its components come attached to a 0.9m x 1.6m board so everything is stored together and is immediately accessible in case of an accident.

A 1.75m BS-45 Rescue Pole is included in order to safely move someone away from a hazardous area. It can withstand potential of up to 45kV and has a hook at one end. Insulated wire cutters are also included. These can cut wires with a maximum thickness of 25mm and withstand voltages of up to 25kV.

To help safeguard the responder, a pair of class 3 dielectric gloves are included and these come in a metallic case. A 45kV-insulated stool is also provided for this purpose.

Once an injured person is safely away from danger, the responder can use the first aid board, salts and respiration pipette to help perform first aid. An instruction board is also included
