Solar Power Meter TM-206 Calibration Service
It is an official requirement of the MCS installer certification scheme that all equipment used on a solar pv system must be calibrated and have a calibration certificate stating the result. Section 11 in Appendix A of the Microgeneration Installation Standard: MCS 001 states that any solar installer "shall ensure that suitable equipment exists for the control and measurement of the installations and that it is calibrated and labelled to indicate its calibration status."
The TM-206 Solar Meter is supplied with a Certificate of Conformity that ensures correct and accurate operation at the time of manufacture, but no calibration certificate is provided.
