The Testo 115i Bluetooth Clamp Thermometer is part of Testo’s ‘Smart Probes’ range of instruments that are designed to work with iOS and Android smartphones via the free Testo Smart Probes App. The Testo 115i provides temperature measurements in Celsius and Fahrenheit between -40? and +150? on pipes up to 35mm in diameter with an accuracy of ±1.3? and a precision of 0.1?. It is therefore ideal for inspecting and installing air-conditioning units and fridges, especially when used in conjunction with the Testo 549i high pressure measuring instrument for even more advanced refrigeration assessment.

A temperature measurement is taken once per second to give real time values throughout various system phases and results are communicated directly to the user’s smartphone or tablet where they are displayed on screen in diagram or table form. Multiple devices from the Smart Probes range can be linked to a smartphone at any one time via Bluetooth to give a really comprehensive picture of performance and readings can then be collated into PDF or Excel files to send onwards.
