Testo 512 Differential Pressure and Flow Meter

The Testo 512 is a user-friendly, accurate device for measuring both differential pressure and air flow speed. It is available in four different versions with four different pressure measurment ranges: 0 to 2 mbar, 0 to 20 mbar, 0 to 200mbar, and finally 0 to 2000mbar. Each device measures flow speed and differential pressure to varying degrees of precision (the smaller the range, the greater the precision) apart from the version with a range of 0 to 2000mbar which only measures differential pressure. The user has the option of eight different units of pressure and two units of air flow speed so the Testo 512 can be adapted to suit its owner. Damping for a sliding mean value can be individually programmed whilst there is also integrated tightness compensation to improve accuracy.

All readings are shown in real time on the bright, clear screen whilst a data hold function allows the user to freeze readings on screen at the push of a button. Min/max readings are stored in the Testo 512’s internal memory and can be displayed on screen. There is also the option to print out readings on any compatible Testo printer alongside the date and time.

With a rugged but lightweight design, the Testo 512 is an excellent way of accurately measuring air flow speed and pressure in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
