The TMPV IR50 Infrared non contact thermometer is capable of measuring up to 550°C and displays results to a resolution of 0.1°C. This thermometer uses dual laser targeting to offer an optical resolution of 12:1. A key feature is the adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00 so that measurement accuracy can be adjusted according to different surfaces for more precise results. For example the right setting for ebola screening for human skin is 0.97. If the wrong emissivity was entered it could lead to false temperature readings. The fast and accurate nature of this thermometer means that it is ideal for processes that require regular temperature control and monitoring, particularly useful for use on solar PV installations.
