The TPI 709R Flue Gas Analyser Kit is based around the versatile TPI 709R Flue Gas Analyser which is accompanied by a range of accessories for maximum practicality. The combustion boiler analyser itself can measure differential temperature as well as carbon monoxide and O₂ levels in flue gas which permits calculation of CO₂, CO/CO₂ ratio, combustion efficiency, and excess air. Furthermore, a pressure gauge provides an extra insight into combustion performance. Carbon monoxide measurement can also be used to check ambient CO levels via a supplied GK11M air probe.

Test results are shown on the TPI 709R’s backlit digital screen and the user can adjust measurement to fit ten different fuel types such as wood, oil, natural gas and LPG. To help ensure user safety, the flue gas analyser will not switch off when dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected. The simple push-button interface makes operation very easy and the software on the device helps the user carry out speedy analysis on results. The memory storage has enough room for 50 multi-page sets of readings along with time and date stamps. One charge of the battery provides enough power for 6 or more hours of operation.

Measurements are taken via a supplied sampling probe with an integrated type-K thermocouple in addition to the air probe. Other useful features help protect the analyser for long term use. For example, the in-line water trap bowl filter and pump protection filter on the flue probe help prevent water ingress and pump damage. The rubber boot casing adds another layer of protection against both water and impacts whilst the whole kit can be packed away in a handy supplied carry case.

Overall, the TPI 709R is ideal for performing quick, accurate flue gas assessment on combustion systems without compromising on longevity or accuracy. With regular servicing from a TPI-approved engineer, the product is under warranty for 6 years.
