The TPI 716 Flue Gas Analyser Kit 3 builds on the impressive capabilities of the TPI 716 with an A740 IR Printer, two CK21M pipe clamp temperature probes and a CPA1 probe set for flue-less appliances.

The TPI 716 itself can measure several different aspects of combustion flue gas including oxygen content, CO level, temperature and pressure. Both temperature and pressure benefit from differential measurement in order to compare flow and return values, which is also aided by the two CK21M temperature probes. These measurement parameters also allow the instrument's in-built software to calculate a range of other values including carbon dioxide, CO/CO2 ratio, efficiency and excess air.

Several plug-in options are available for the TPI 716 including an NO sensor and a high CO sensor for advanced flue analysis in addition to a plug-in organic gas detector and Bluetooth module. The gas detector senses a range of hydrocarbons and has a sensitivity of just 30ppm for methane. The CPA1 probe set allows analysis on flue-less combustion systems for an increased scope of use.

The TPI 716’s backlit digital display can show up to eight readings at once and the analyser can store up to 100 data sets in its internal memory alongside time-and-date stamps and serial numbers. These can be printed on the A740 printer using wireless infrared technology whilst data download to Windows or Android computer/smartphone is possible using either the software provided or the downloadable TPI Stream App. A standard USB cable allows simple transfer whilst the Bluetooth module also allows wireless communication.

Water and dust filters help prevent damaging ingression into the TPI 716 and protective rubber casing also helps keep the analyser in good working order. A six-year warranty provides peace of mind and it constitutes a comprehensive test instrument for flue-less combustion systems.
