The TPI 716 Flue Gas Analyser Oil Kit is based around the versatile TPI 716 and also includes a smoke pump and an oil filter for work on oil-fired installations. The analyser itself can measure several different parameters in flue gas including oxygen and carbon monoxide content, temperature and pressure. Differential temperature and pressure measurements allow the user to compare both flow and return conditions whilst the internal software can calculate readings such as carbon dioxide, CO/CO2 ratio, tightness, efficiency and excess air. Timed tests for both tightness and ambient CO build up add extra depth to inspections. Optional sensors can also be added for nitrogen oxide and high CO measurement.

The user can choose to add a plug-in gas detector to the TPI 716 in order to increase user safety. It can sense a wide range of hydrocarbon gases with high sensitivity whilst the CO detection facility of the analyser adds an additional important safety feature.

A backlit, eight-line display shows several different readings at once and the internal memory has room for up to 100 data sets with time-and-date stamps and serial numbers. Wireless communication with the A740 printer then allows hard copies to be printed with company details as a header. Data can also be transferred to a Windows or Android smart device via a USB cable or through the optional wireless Bluetooth module.

The oil filter works with the water and dust filters in the flue gas probe to keep the TPI 716 safe from harmful ingress or infiltration. TPI provide a six-year warranty to safeguard the instrument and the rechargeable battery powers the analyser for six hours on one charge. With sophisticated measurement for a range of factors, the TPI 716 Oil Kit is an excellent option for analysis on oil-fired combustion systems.
