The TPI 9070 Smart Vibration Meter is a sophisticated vibration meter that measures vibration amplitude (g, velocity) and frequency (Hz, CPM, RPM). Measurements are taken via an integrated accelerometer with a stinger that sits on top of this rugged, compact meter.

A vibrant colour display gives simultaneous readings for ISO vibration in mm/s, in/s with a colour alarm; g; or BDU to indicate bearing damage. The frequency range goes from 2Hz to 3kHz with resolution from 100 to 800 lines and the instrument has a 72dB dynamic range.

Two more visual displays on the TPI 9070 provide options for quick vibration analysis. Firstly a three-column screen provides band and colour indication of the status of unbalance, misalignment and looseness at any particular run speed. An 800-line FFT spectrum, meanwhile, has zoom and a cursor for more advanced identification of complex vibration issues.

The push-button operation on the TPI 9070 makes it easy to use, especially as this is coupled with intuitive menus and small size and weight. The IP67 rated casing certifies that the meter is extremely resistant to water and dust ingression so the user can be sure it will stand up to the challenges of daily use.
