Our new Epson SureColor SC-S80600 printer and Summa cutter

An exciting day for us with the new addition of our new Epson SureColor SC-S80600 and our new Summa S Class 2 S160 T-Series Cutter. Due to our continued growth our poor Mimaki printer was working overtime to keep up with demand, so we had to look into investing into a new printer to help cope with the demand. We had been recommended a local company called SEDO Large Format Solutions and was advised they are the people who will help, upon talking with Andy it was clear we had the right company and advised us on what products are best to go with and strongly recommended the Epson SureColor SC-S80600. We arranged a visit with SEDO, and we were not disappointed Andy was extremely helpful done test prints on his demo machine run through everything and also advised us on a decent cutter to work alongside the printer which again he gave us a demo as well and both machines clearly were exactly what we needed. Andy quickly got a install date arranged which took a few weeks which was very welcomed only trouble was the machine was pretty large and going from a print and cut machine to a independent printer and cutter the nice office and print room we had previously renovated would not accommodate the new machines which was a setback but wasn’t going to stop us. So from there we had 2 weeks to rip out the office removing the supporting wall between office and print room and make into one room, as you can imagine this involved moving sockets fully plastering, decorating, new flooring and a whole lot of mess at the same time along with the massive work load we have on, all i can say was it was chaos. We did well and had all wrapped up within one week we also needed yet another PC to run the new machines new screens, desks the list goes on. We then had a long week waiting for the new machines and believe me it felt like a month but today SEDO’s engineer mike come down and installed and trained us in the new machine. I have had a few training courses on machines before, but mike done an exceptional job in explaining everything considering the amount of info to take in he was brilliant in delivering it all I can say is a big thank you to Andy and Mike and the team SEDO Large Format Solutions.
