This client is a leading global consulting, systems integration and outsourcing company , operating 21 sites across the UK. They also provide services within a further 35 data centres and approximately 50 client sites throughout the UK. The UK sites utilise significant amounts of energy and this cost has only been exacerbated by energy price increases in recent years. As is the case for all businesses, the current financial climate has resulted in the need to examine expenditure and make significant cost savings. Inenco developed a plan to achieve a carbon emission reduction of 22% by 2012, and a saving of £2.9 million per year primarily on energy, transport and waste.
