Protectapeel® in Downtown Austin

SXSW Center is a 13 story iconic landmark in Downtown Austin designed by world-class architect Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. The $70 million building has a vibrant but relaxed look and feel with terrazzo floors reflecting overhead LED lights that change colors and modern casual couches, chairs and work tables to help encourage interaction and activity. Construction started in late 2017 with Protectapeel® used to protect the mullions and cills from damage. The 145,000 square-foot building was completed in June 2019. Protectapeel® was simply hand peeled away revealing clean and undamaged surfaces, allowing the completion to be on time and on budget.
