Summit Takes a Sweet Turn
Summit Systems Group has announced the launch of its new division and a new venture for their business, "Summit Eco Confectionery," which will manufacture bubble gum made entirely from recycled plastic bags. We have been working on this technology for several years and have already produced prototypes of the bubble gum using various types of recycled plastic bags. In response to increasing concerns about plastic waste in landfills and oceans, Summit have decided to introduce this new product as a solution for those who want to indulge in a sweet treat while also doing their part for the planet. Managing Director of Summit Systems Group, Mike Jordan, stated, "Bubble gum made from recycled plastic bags is the perfect solution for people who want to enjoy something sweet while also making a positive impact on the environment. By using recycled materials to create something that people love, we can help reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in our environment. We understand that this sounds bizarre – but it's really worked, and the taste is fantastic!" The manufacturing process for creating this new type of bubble gum involves melting down used plastic bags and transforming them into a malleable substance that can be moulded into various shapes and sizes. Once the bubble gum is formed, it is coated with a layer of flavour and packaged for sale. Summit Eco Confectionery has taken numerous steps to ensure the safety and quality of their product. The plastic bags used to manufacture the bubble gum undergo a rigorous cleaning and sterilization process to remove any contaminants or impurities. The plastic is then melted down at a high temperature, ensuring that any potential pathogens are destroyed. The end product is then thoroughly tested to ensure that it meets all necessary safety standards. In addition to creating a more eco-friendly product, we are also dedicated to ensuring the safety of its consumers. The company has implemented strict quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that the bubble gum is free of any dangerous substances. One of the biggest concerns with traditional bubble gum is the presence of harmful chemicals such as phthalates and BHT. Phthalates, which are used to make plastics more flexible, have been linked to hormone disruption and other health issues. BHT, a preservative commonly used in food products, has been linked to allergies and other health concerns. Summit Eco Confectionery’s bubble gum made from recycled plastic bags is free of these dangerous substances, making it a healthier alternative to traditional bubble gum. By using recycled materials to create a product that is safe for consumers, the company is setting a new standard for the confectionery industry. Furthermore, we are committed to ongoing research and development to ensure that our products continue to be safe and environmentally friendly. Summit Eco Confectionery is exploring new ways to improve the manufacturing process and find innovative solutions for reducing plastic waste. By prioritising both safety and sustainability, we are proving that it is possible to create products that are both good for consumers and good for the planet. While Consumer Research has shown that some people are sceptical about the idea of using recycled plastic bags to make bubble gum, we are committed to moving forward with the production of this new product. We believe that our bubble gum will inspire others to think creatively about how they can reduce their environmental footprint. "We know that there will be some challenges along the way, but we're confident that we can overcome them," says Mike Jordan. "We're excited to be part of the solution to the plastic waste problem, and we hope that our new bubble gum will inspire others to think creatively about how we can reduce our environmental footprint." We have already received positive feedback from environmental groups and consumers test group, with many seeing this as a significant step forward in the fight against plastic waste. We hope to have the bubble gum available for purchase by the end of the year and plans to expand the product line to include other sustainable confectionery in the future. We’re committed to sustainability and innovation and are keen to lead the way in creating a more sustainable future for all.
