Craft Guild Pub Chef of the Year 2008, Matt Van Wyck has taken over the King's Arms at Litton which is located in the beautiful Chew Valley, just south of Bristol, famous for its lakes, fantastic walks and stunning Somerset scenery.
With the local pub's rustic charm, idyllic location and ecletic mix of fine dining and wood fired oven pizza, the menu, created by Matt and Elriette, is rated by the locals as one of the best around.
The pub's beer garden includes table tennis and darts for the children and an outdoor kitchen and BBQ that only the Aussie in Matt would think of and use to its full potential.
Matt also smokes and cures his own hams and always uses fresh local produce with provenance from local suppliers. Having travelled to over 89 countries and cooked professionally in 32 of them Matt has a knowledge covering fine dining to boutique pizza, so there is something for everyone at The King's Arms.
