Eco-Roast Technology

At 918 we are proud to be using the innovative Eco-roast technology! Every year in the UK, 500,000 tons of used coffee grounds are disposed of into landfill space. On top of that, coffee grounds speed up the decomposition of other foods that are also sent to landfill. As a result, the decomposition reaction produces the greenhouse gas methane, which contributes significantly to global warming. Our steadily increasing level of coffee consumption is having a negative effect on the environment. Knowing this we use the innovative Eco-roast process to produce coffee that is free from carbon, waste and is sustainable.
