ASP.NET Back End Web DeveloperLocation: ManchesterDescription: Our successful client based in Manchester is currently looking for a skilled Back End (ASP.NET) Web Developer. We are looking for a talented, experienced and proven Back End Web Developer to join a growing team of web design & development specialists to work with some of the UK’s most exciting brands. Core Skill Set: Working within an experienced Marketing Team, the successful candidate will liaise with the CRM Team Channel Managers, Offline (TV & Print), Design & Development Team, SEO Team, Content Team & Social Media Team to ensure delivery of design to brief. This is a hands on role where the successful applicant will be given scope to use all their coding knowledge and skills to shape ground breaking email, website and online user experiences. This is an important role within the groups marketing team and you will be expected to work closely with Senior Members of the Team and with Managers across the business. Success in this role will be measured and rewarded on ability to build brief & deadline as well as to develop solutions that aid conversion rates and usability. It is important that candidates bring a commercial focus into the role. Required qualifications / competences: • VB & C# ASP.net and Visual Studio (minimum 2 years project experience) • IIS experience in administration and deployment • Knowledge of SQL Server as well as SQL programming and stored procedures • JavaScript • MVC Framework • CSS and XHTML • Classic ASP • Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions • Experience integrating with server-side code to produce dynamic pages • Good understanding of Web Accessibility • Good understanding of User Experience best practice across Web and Mobile • Experience working with version control systems • Flexible approach to working within a fast changing environment, with a genuine passion for the design space and emerging technologies • A sufficient level of experience of working in a similar role • Compelling examples of your work that demonstrate exceptional coding skills • Knowledge and understanding of Search Engine Optimisation and how on-page code impacts crawling and indexing of web pages in Google Desirable Skills: • Project planning and management • Knowledge of DNS • Managing web hosting accounts • Experience of developing Android / iPhone Applications • Familiarity with Dreamweaver • Knowledge of CMS systems such as SharePoint • PHP • XSL ASP.NET Web Developer – Manchester If you require further information on this position, please send your CV to Adria Solutions or call 01625 874399 for more information.
