Our highly successful client based in Warrington is currently looking for a skilled Business Insight Analyst / Team Leader. You will be working for a growing client that will offer training and excellent career progression. Core Skill Set: You will ideally be educated to a high degree standard which contains statistics or mathematics. Use of statistical packages like SPSS, Chaid or SAS is important but not essential, other software includes Mini tab, KXEN are also considered. Knowledge and use of MS Office products such as excel is key requirement. Knowledge or experience of working with data sets is a bonus but not essential. Any SQL experience would be highly advantageous. Reporting to the Operations Director, your main role will be to undertake data analysis, statistical modelling, production of reports for clients from a wide variety of business sectors and managing a small team of analysts. You will be office based, however you may be required to visit clients to undertake analysis, training or support. Your responsibilities as a Team Leader will include: o Daily management of the Business Insight Analysts o Assisting the Operations Director with resource allocation o Ensuring quality of work remains high through regular quality checks o Updating of extranet with progress reports, quality reports and any non-conformities o Attending client meetings both on and offsite for project planning o Communication with clients on project specifics o Writing of briefs for allocated projects o Maintenance of processing documentation o Updating of Operations director, Business Insight Director and Project Manager on project progress o Identifying and highlighting training requirements for team Professional Requirements o Must be UK resident or have UK work permit o Educated to a high Degree standard in a statistics/mathematics discipline o Must have a good working knowledge of at least one statistical program such as SAS, SPSS, Answer Trees, Minitab, FastStats or SmartFocus o Use of statistical programs forecasting, descriptive or predictive modelling: methods include Chaid/decision tree, cluster analysis, regression modelling o Good knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Excel o Confident communicator Business Insight Analyst / Team Leader - Warrington, Cheshire
